While I was under light anesthesia, he said do you need this molar and before I could grasp what he said and respond, he extracted it. Now I am having severe issues and 4 pairs of braces since because that space causes other teeth to crowd and knock! I know now that that was not his justification as he is a periodontist. He took no X-rays of that tooth, just pulled it! The tooth could have been saved with a crown/root canal. Just wanted him to be aware of these issues as I know it was so long ago. I didn’t appreciate that and would like him to know the problems it has caused me! Thank you Judy cisco

Extremely kind and careful. Patient and does the right thing, that a patient needs. I am very grateful as I was in excruciating pain. Dr Shait was diligent and helped me get rid of my pain and provided me all instructions I needed. I will be remiss if I fail to mention about his friendly staff. I will HIGHLY recommend.
